Many people were surprised when San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers recently endorsed Rick Santorum in the 2012 Republican Primaries. However, Rivers and Santorum have a lot in common:
1. Both have never won the Super Bowl.
2. Despite never winning anything, some people still take both of them seriously.
3. Both will never have protection in the pocket.
4. They each have more children than fans.
5. Both have never done anything favorable for the state of California.
6. Watching them on television often leads to the phrase, “Oh no, not again!”
7. Both are a better option than Ryan Leaf.
8. Both are dressed like clowns and holding chainsaws in my recurring nightmare.
9. Vincent Jackson rolls his eyes when they are talking.
10. Both will never be President.
